Bridlington 27, Keighley 3
Keighley travelled to the east coast without seven first-choice players and their absence took its toll.
For the majority of a dour game, the visitors competed on equal terms but mistakes proved costly.
They gifted Brid two tries early in the first half and also two more scores in stoppage time in the second half.
The final scoreline scarcely reflected the closeness of the game.
South African No 8 Baloyi touched down twice, both from charged-down clearance kicks, and other tries came from wingman Burrows and forward Warley.
Stand-off Kemp also added two conversions and centre Robinson a penalty.
Keighley’s sole response was a penalty by Alex Brown.
