Bradford Salem reckon they have unearthed a nugget in Tom Lund.
The second row played in the second half of their 27-19 home victory over Ormskirk last Saturday in the fourth round of the EDF Energy Senior Vase.
Salem’s match secretary Neil Klenk said: “Tom replaced Dean McNicholl at half-time and looked a class act.”
The duo therefore swap roles for second-placed Salem’s Yorkshire Division One trip to Glossop on Saturday.
However, the absence of Craig Buxton in the front row means that hooker Sean Fields switches to tight-head prop, with his deputy Dan Wyness getting a start between the props.
Bradford Salem (at Glossop): R Langhorn; C Savva, K Whata, C Bourne, P Deer; J Robinson, I Woodwiss; S Fields, D Wyness, D Luxton, B Scarbrough, T Lund, R Bourne, K Falwasser, S Cowman. Replacements: J Simpson, D McNicholl, J Bradbury.
