Wibsey’s No 8 James Vogel scored two indentical tries as his side beat visitors Wetherby 15-5.
Vogel caught the defence napping with quick tap penalties before Harry Hall scored the final try after Wetherby’s left winger had dropped a bomb.
Victory came at cost for the Villagers, with Paul Garside needing hospital treatment following a bad calf injury which is set to keep him out for the season.
Richard Hall had to be substituted due to illness, while Dan Horsfall faces a lengthy spell out with a hand injury.
