Bridlington 17, Keighley 6
Keighley slipped to their third defeat of 2008, going down 17-6 at Bridlington in Yorkshire Division One.
They fell behind to a second-minute try by wingman Stevens, converted by full back Robinson, following a cross-kick by fly half Jamie Muru after a controversial penalty award.
A penalty goal by Alex Brown kept Keighley in the game but this was soon cancelled by a similar effort by Robinson.
In an evenly-contested first half, Bridlington increased their lead with a try by skipper Ben Lawry, converted by Robinson, from a rolling maul to the line.
Facing a 14-point deficit, Keighley's problems were compounded when prop Richard Leach was sent off for stamping just before half-time.
A magnificent effort by the depleted pack, however, led to them dominating the second-half but despite their pressure, their efforts were restricted to a single penalty goal by Brown.
