Selby 25, Keighley 7
An off-form Keighley side were well beaten by third-placed Selby in Yorkshire Division One at Sandhill Lane yesterday.
In the early stages there was little to choose between the sides, only a penalty goal for Selby by fly half Dan Porter being the difference for the first 38 minutes.
Just before half-time, full back Sam Weller slid over for the first try and further tries were soon added in the second half by wingman Martin Protheroe and Weller, with Porter landing a conversion.
Keighley struck back with a well-taken try by centre Nigel Curr, converted by Alex Brown, but Selby's hard-running forwards and backs continued to torment the visitors, resulting in a try by replacement Matthew Smith.
