There was a reunion on the touchline today at Broadstreet RFC near Coventry when Andy Farrell met former Saracens coach Mike Ford.
England cap Farrell, who plays for Saracens, was watching his son Owen captain London & South East under-16s against the North, for whom England defence coach Mike's son George was playing fly half.
London won 15-5 in the Divisional Festival, the North's try coming from Ford, who danced past three tacklers to score. The Midlands and South drew 10-10 in their match.
On Friday, in horrendous conditions, the North defeated the South West 10-5 with tries from wingers Chris McTurk and Josh Allan, who goes to North Halifax Grammar School and plays for Old Brodleians. The Midlands drew 5-5 with London and the South East.
