Cleckheaton could well field some guest players in their traditional Boxing Day clash today against Old Brodleians.
One possibility is that former player-coach Craig West could figure in the derby at Moorend (11.00), although that would depend on whether the Rotherham team he coaches are called in for extra training following their thumping 51-7 National League One defeat at Nottingham on Sunday.
Another option for the club match would be a guest prop but pencilled in at full back is Heath's Ryan Piper, cousin of Matthew and Richard Piper, who are already in Cleckheaton's starting XV.
Grant Turton and Mark Chivers are part of a strong-looking home front row, while Matthew Burrows pairs up with the experienced John Dudley in the second row.
Cleckheaton's back row of Lance Hamilton, Ryan Burrows and Richard Piper should also test the visitors from Hipperholme, who are three divisions below their hosts.
Cleckheaton (home to Old Brodleians): Ryan Piper; M Woodhead, M Walker, M Piper, C Blackburn; J Marshall, K Sewell; G Turton, M Chivers, M Waite, J Dudley, M Burrows, R Piper, R Burrows, L Hamilton. Replacements: M Sargeant, J Sergeant, J Porritt, W Stephenson.
