Woodhouse Grove pupil Harry Hannan is one of six Yorkshire players named in the North side for the opening game of the England Inter-Divisional Under-18 Festival which starts on Friday at Broadstreet RFC, Coventry.
Also named in the starting 15 to face London & South East are Leeds Carnegie clubmates Craig Hampson (Harrogate College) and Joe Barker (QEGS Wakefield).
The rest of the Yorkshire players to start are Andrew Forsyth (QEGS Wakefield and Leicester Tigers), John Aikman (Woldgate College and Pocklington) and Laurence Troke (Silcoates and Sandal).
Among the 11 on the bench are Leeds Carnegie duo David Simmons (Prince Henry's Grammar School, Otley) and Joe Quinn (St Wilfrid's), plus Joe Ford (Rishworth School), who is the son of England World Cup defensive coach Mike Ford.
