Struggling Baildon went down 36-0 at home to league leaders Castleford but the visitors were berated by their coach at half-time.

The first half had been a moral victory to a patchwork Baildon team, who held Castleford to 14-0. During the first half-hour, it was difficult to spot who occupied which spot in the league and the visiting full back was sin-binned after taking it out his frustration.

Strong forward play against a tiring home side after the break produced four further tries, only one of which was converted.

Frustration again came into play with Castleford's full back receiving his second yellow card and Baildon's prop Danny Helstrip was also asked to take a ten-minute break.

One more converted try came Castleford's way two minutes from the end after good sustained Baildon pressure.

The Jenny Laners now have a first-team injury list of 23, not including Phil Wilson also being taken off injured after 15 minutes.
