Yorkshire launched their County Championship campaign in style with a 57-19 victory over the North Midlands at Doncaster yesterday.
Bradford & Bingley winger Mark Kirkby and Wharfedale centre Chris Malherbe and winger and clubmate Simon Horsfall got three of the nine tries, Otley scrum half Andy Brown adding six conversions.
Halifax centre Danny McGee, a Keighley product, was very impressive on his county debut in a much-changed line-up.
