BUMBLE Bees Barbarians – the city's award-winning mixed ability rugby union team – have helped to launch an internet campaign to raise money for this autumn's inaugural World Tournament in the Bradford area.
The crowd-funding target is to raise £50,000 by June 22 to provide accommodation and hospitality at the University of Bradford for around 400 disabled and non-disabled players from around the globe.
The Bumbles' Mark Goodwin, of International Mixed Ability Sports (IMAS) said: "Pledges can be as little as £1, while it is equally important to spread the word to friends, family and work colleagues to also involve them in what is a historic project."
Pledges can be made via Crowdfunder.co.uk (key Bradford into the search bar).
