Rob Baldwin has missed out on the chance to captain the England Counties XV in France on Friday night because of an RFU suspension.
The Wharfedale No 8 was given a one-week ban from an RFU disciplinary panel last night for receiving three yellow cards for foul play during the season.
The captain’s armband to face the France Federale XV at Nevers (8pm) will go to Fylde’s former Huddersfield fly half Chris Johnson, who plays cricket for Rastrick.
