Waterlogging has been an ongoing problem over the last few weeks
All football and rugby matches scheduled to be played on council-managed pitches in the Kirklees district this weekend have been postponed due to waterlogging.
Safety inspections will be made of the ground conditions by maintenance staff and there will be an extra effort to prepare the pitches for the following week.
A number of Bradford clubs would have been expecting to play fixtures in Kirklees on Saturday or Sunday.
