Old Grovians’ director of rugby Martin Whitcombe is already looking forward to the next two weekends after a heavy 43-7 loss at Thornensians.
“We were a bit depleted. We didn’t have a bench and at various stages we were down to 14 men, so it was a difficult afternoon,” said Whitcombe.
“But we aren’t down about it and have two big home games coming up against Harrogate Pythons and Aireborough.
"We should have Cambridge University Blue Jack Baker available next week.”
Anthony Griffin scored Old Grovians’ try and added the conversion.
