In a highly-competitive match, leaders Cleckheaton gained another SSE North One East bonus-point victory, two converted tries in the last quarter being the decisive factor.
Richard Piper, the division's leading try-scorer, led the way with a first-half hat-trick of tries, Ross Hayden converting two.
Driffield kept in contact with a try in injury time at the break by full back Sam Furbank, converted by Harry Grant.
The visitors reduced the arrears further on the hour mark with a penalty try, again converted by Grant.
But Cleckheaton stretched away in the last quarter with tries from Grant Turton and Ross Hayden, both of which were converted by Hayden.
