Talented young forward Dan Temm makes his farewell appearance for Otley on Saturday.
The powerful back-row forward is joining Aviva Premiership club Newcastle Falcons.
The Cross Greeners will be hoping that Temm will sign off with a big performance at Old Luctonians as they look to end a dismal run of five successive SSE National League Two North defeats.
Temm, 22, has been in fine form this season and has scored five tries in 19 games.
His overall record of 21 tries in 56 games since joining Otley in 2011 is also impressive.
Otley’s director of rugby James Tiffany said: “Obviously we will be disappointed to lose Dan from our team, but we are also delighted that he has the opportunity to be a full-time professional with a top club.
“It is a wonderful opportunity for him and I hope he goes on to make a big impression at the top level of English club rugby.
“He has been training with Newcastle and has played for their A team and now he is going to be with them full time.
“It is good when a club like Otley can help develop players who go on to make it at a higher level.”
Temm will line up at No 8 on Saturday, though Tiffany believes Newcastle coach Dean Richards, the former England and Leicester Tigers star, may use him as an open-side flanker.
Skipper Adam Blades remains troubled by a shoulder problem while Jack Mackie is still not off the injured list.
Tiffany is anxious for his team to end their poor run and he has seen positives in their most recent defeats against the promotion-chasers Stourbridge and Macclesfield.
“We have shown we can create chances against the top sides, but our execution hasn’t been as good as we would like.
“We need to sharpen up in that area and then I feel we will start getting better results.
“Obviously we want to halt the run of losses, but we mustn’t go worrying about that.
“We have to be positive in our approach to the game.”
