Bradford Salem moved up to third place after this emphatic win knocked Yarnbury off top spot.
Having gone behind early, Salem looked to have hit back when winger Sam Savage crashed over the line only for the referee to pull them back for a forward pass.
However, from the next passage of play, open-side flanker Joe Fawcett was in support to dive over for a try improved by Danny Belcher to give Salem a 7-3 lead.
The Bradford side suffered a major set-back when influential prop Simon Davies had to leave the field with what looked like a serious ankle injury but his replacement Jordan Ashworth did well to keep the scrum solid.
Salem went further ahead when Belcher showed great acceleration to ghost through a gap for a fine try which he improved himself to give his side a 14-3 advantage at the break.
Salem scored a third try early in the second half when Savage’s kick fell kindly for man of the match Andy Robinson to touch down, Belcher adding the extras.
The hosts had to do plenty of defending before Jack Mitchell scored his first try for the club, Belcher adding the conversion to seal a five-point victory.
