Hemsworth 12, Baildon 55
Baildon have secured promotion to SSE Yorkshire Division Two for the first time in their history with a nine-try demolition of Hemsworth.
Thoughts of next Saturday's RFU Junior Vase final were put to one side as the Jenny Laners raced to a 30-0 lead by half-time through tries from lock Phil Wilson (seven minutes), hooker Dale Tabiner (ten minutes), full back Jake Duxbury (15) and right winger Hayden Lister, who secured the winning bonus point with a try on half-time to put the game beyond doubt.
A couple of uncharacteristic defensive lapses allowed the home side to reduce the deficit in the second half with two soft tries but once again Baildon's superior fitness proved the difference.
Lister bagged his brace on 55 minutes, left winger Richard Kingham crossed on 60 minutes, Wilson got his second on 73 minutes and outside centre Elliot Morgan got in on the act with a late brace of his own to give Baildon a comprehensive victory and a huge boost going before next week's second consecutive appearance at HQ.
The only black mark was the withdrawal of back row Shawn Stewart on 31 minutes after aggravating a knee injury which rules him out of the Twickenham squad.
