Bramley Phoenix, who needed extra-time to triumph 18-15 at Yarnbury Seconds, will host Ilkley Seconds in a semi-final of the Spray Plant UK (Ltd) Aire-Wharfe Cup next Thursday (6.30).
Scrum half Aaron McCall got one of Bramley’s tries, Sam Coates adding a penalty and a conversion.
Yarnbury’s points came from tries by Alex Clarke and Tom Whitfield, a conversion by David Jones and a penalty by Danny Pound.
Wharfedale’s Development XV are also through to the last four at Old Otliensians on Tuesday (7.00) after a 28-13 victory at Halifax, courtesy of tries by Sam Smith (2), Max Mountain and Michael Beer, Jeremy Hargreaves adding two penalties and a conversion.
Jamie Symons and Dean McNicholl scored tries for Bradford Salem Seconds, who lost 15-14 at home to Roundhegians in the Aire-Wharfe Plate.
The Leeds club will now host Otley Seconds in the semi-finals.
Skipton Seconds will visit Keighley Seconds or West Leeds Seconds, who play tomorrow at Rose Cottage, in the other last-four tie.
