Cononley’s Jacob Rowan has been included in the RFU Championship XV to face the Maori All Blacks tomorrow at Castle Park, Doncaster.
Rowan starts in the back row, while included on the bench are the 22-year-old Leeds Carnegie skipper’s clubmates Calum Green, who, like Rowan, has been capped by England under-20s, and Ryan Burrows.
The match is being shown live on Sky Sports HD with a 12.05 kick-off, and Leeds Carnegie’s Diccon Edwards is one of the Championship side’s assistant coaches.
Rowan is joint second in the Championship try-scoring list with six.
