Queensbury lost away to Westgate Wolves 28-6 in Pennine League Division One in a lacklustre performance.

Their only consolation was a try from full back Luke Brearcliffe which was converted by Brett Marriott.

Two tries from centre Martin Tordoff was of little solace to West Bowling A, who crashed to a 58-18 away defeat at Emley Moor.

Andy Patchett also crossed, with Bob Benn and Mark Dunning sharing the kicks at goal.

A solid yet unspectacular display from Wibsey enabled them to see off Dearne Valley Bulldogs 26-10 in Division Two.

The Warriors ran in all their points before the interval, when Steve Redman, Neil Sutcliffe, Phil Brain, Michael Horrocks and CJ Vogel reached the chalk. Andy Robinson also added six points with the boot.

Victoria Rangers took the Division Three plaudits with a surprise 34-22 home win over high-flying Odsal Sedbergh, whose tries came from Adam Moffatt, Jason Marshall, Jonny Ward and Aiden Lovett.

Bury faced the slope in the first half with early tries from Chris Whitehead and Michael Boocock.

Bury continued to dominate the first half but could not add to their lead.

The game changed completely in the second half and it was Odsal who took control. Two tries from Andy Lloyd, one from Josh Tordoff and a conversion gave them the lead and a big shock looked on the cards.

Bury got out of jail in the final minutes when centre Aaron Moore broke three tackles and raced 60 metres to score in the corner.
