Giant-killers Bank Top Harriers knocked previously unbeaten Pennine League rivals Newsome Panthers out of the ANDREW BENNETT MEMORIAL TROPHY Memorial Trophy with a convincing 18-8 away display.
The Harriers got off to a flying start when full back Simon Giles raced over from 60 metres, soon followed by further efforts from centres Jason Gelder and Michael Hustler.
Wingman Dan Oldfield tagged on the extras and loose forward Craig French was the most outstanding player on view in his first game back from a broken arm.
Queensbury A bowed out of the SUPPLEMENTARY CUP 20-8 at New Earswick.

Wibsey Warriors moved up to fourth place in DIVISION TWO with a 43-20 win at Dodworth.
Nick Fontaine (2), Mike Derrick, Adam Wright, Lewis Barrett, Phil Brain and Adam Barker all made the whitewash, while Andy Robinson contributed a try, five conversions and a drop goal.
Odsal Sedbergh had too much firepower for visitors Victoria Rangers, running in 54 points without reply in a local DIVISION THREE derby.
Full back Adam Moffatt was the star of the show with a brace of tries plus seven conversions. Graham Harrison, Jason Marshall, Luke Sellers, Jason Woolham, Bob Priestley, Russ Sigston, Jonny Ward and Jared Priestley also made donations.
