Pennine League Premier Division outfit West Bowling have announced their new coaching team for next season.
New head coaches will be former Keighley Cougars assistant Glen Barraclough, who has been coaching at Keighley for seven years, and Douggie Lumb, who has stepped up from the under-18s role – the side having completed a successful season in the Yorkshire Youth League Premier Division.
Lumb will also be bringing with him at least half of last season’s promising juniors into the already youthful open-age section.
Both men are former Bowling players with vast experience and are keen to pass on their own structures and ideas.
Pre-season training will start early June and any committed players out there are welcome to come down and try there hand.
The club are now looking for a second-team coach to underpin the first-team squad.
