Wyke went down 30-12 at Selby Warriors. The black and whites were under the cosh, trailing 12-0 at the break, and could not close the gap despite two tries from Joe Bartle, both of which were converted by Andy Patchett.

Victoria Rangers maintained their stranglehold at the top of Division Four with a 24-4 success at Eastmoor Dragons.

West Bowling A lost 16-12 at Drighlington A. Nathan Marshall and Max Trueman crossed the chalk with Ben Heald kicking the goals.

Queensbury A lowered Division Three leaders Hunslet Old Boys A’s colours for the first time, winning 12-10.

The three vital tries came from 16-year-old Nathan Daly, Darren Brown and Chris Hanson. Nathan Ridehough was Bury’s best on the day.

Bury’s third team lost 13-6 to a strong Selby A, despite a cracking try from livewire hooker Andrew Barraclough.

Victoria Rangers A enjoyed a 34-18 win at Beeston Broncos. Connor Lewis (2), Bob Stones (2), Ray Greenwood, Jonny Fawthrop and Alex Scott reached the chalk, with Scott converting three tries.

In Division Seven, Odsal Sedbergh A lost 28-4 at Moorends. Sedge speedster Dean Messenger crossed for his first try of the season.
