Wibsey Warriors eased into the third round of the BARLA Yorkshire Cup with an excellent 28-0 win at Batley Boys.
The first half was a close affair, with only a Barry Small try converted by Luke Helliwell separating the teams.
But the Warriors took a firm grip of matters after the break and posted further tries through Neil Sutcliffe (2) and Nick Walker, while Helliwell also crossed and added two additional conversions.
Stevie Illingworth picked up the man of the match nomination for his fine display.
Queensbury will join Wibsey in round three thanks to a superb 34-10 victory over Hull outfit Embassy.
Tom Hainsworth led the way with a brace of tries and was assisted by others from Arron Moore, Gareth Chambers, Gareth Crowther and Andy Walker.
Josh Naylor and Ken Timewell were both on target with the boot.
Bank Top Harriers were knocked out after losing 20-14 at New Earswick All Blacks.
Pennine League action saw Birkenshaw push promotion-chasing hosts Newsome Panthers all the way in Championship One Division but they could not quite secure the points as they lost 34-24.
Odsal Sedbergh came up against a well-drilled Boothtown Terriers side in Division One and were beaten 26-2. Sedge’s only points came from a Luke Dawson penalty.
West Bowling A proved too strong for Meltham All Blacks in Division Four, running out comfortable 34-0 winners.
Centre Adam Rearden helped himself to two tries, with Max Trueman, Ben Cousen, Liam Martin and Liam Coe also crossing.
Odsal Sedbergh A’s match had to be abandoned when three players from opponents Cowling Harlequins were sent off before the hour.
The Division Seven game was tied 16-16 at the time, the Sedge scorers being Aiden Lovett, Kris Fawthrop and Karl Read.
