Wibsey Warriors had too much firepower for Premier Division basement side Dewsbury Moor as they ran out comfortable 60-12 winners in the Pennine League.

The Warriors only held a slender 18-12 lead at half-time but totally dominated proceedings after the interval.

Their ten-try haul came courtesy of Ryan Smith (2), Kyle Carter (2), Mike Derricks (2), Justin Benn, Nick Fontaine, Ross Simpson and Michael Horrocks.

West Bowling sit proudly at the top of the Championship Division pile after a 34-18 home defeat of mid-table Westgate Wolves.

Bowling raced into a 16-0 half-time lead thanks to tries from centre Jack Dawson, winger William Forsyth and hooker Gareth Cullington.

Cullington then took the plaudits as he scored try number two before securing his hat-trick five minutes from time.

West Bowling A made it a great day for the club as they pulled off a superb 40-12 home win over second-placed Wakefield City in Division Six.

Loose forward Ben Cousens scored a hat-trick and was ably supported by Karl Spring (2), Phil Munro and Max Trueman.

Odsal Sedbergh secured promotion back to Division Two after a six-year absence with an excellent 30-10 win at promotion rivals Selby Warriors.

Tries from cousins Jared and Robert Priestley, plus a fine Andy Gabriel solo effort, saw Odsal into a comfortable lead.

Shaun Flynn extended the advantage after gathering his own chip and kick and it was fitting when top scorer Gabriel crossed the line to confirm Sedge’s promotion from Division Three.
