Keighley Cougars' player-coach Barry Eaton isn't expecting great things of his players when it comes to the union side of things in tomorrow's Homefinder Cross-Code Challenge against Bradford & Bingley at Wagon Lane (2pm).

He said: "As we are busy preparing for our new season, we haven't spent a lot of time going over the rules of union - maybe ten minutes at the end of a training session last week looking at the technical laws and aspects.

"That half of the match is going to be very difficult for us - when the Bees played Bradford Bulls a couple of seasons ago they won the union half 41-0, so we are under no illusions."

Eaton added: "I look upon it in much the same way as our match against a Keighley Amateur Select XIII last Sunday.

"It is the chance to make friendships, to help each other and build bridges within the community."

Keighley Cougars squad: Ryan Smith, Sam Gardner, Oliver Pursglove, Richard Knight, James Hutchinson, Adam Mitchell, Danny Jones, Dan Murgatroyd, James Feather, Tom Palmer, Luke Goodall, Shane Walton, Greg Nicholson, Luke Sandland, Chris Redfearn, Craig Fawcett, Andy Shickell, Carl Smith, Josh Scott, Ben Sagar, Barry Eaton, David Norcross.
