RIKKI Sheriffe has agreed to join Cougars on a permanent basis after negotiating a release from Halifax.
The former Bulls winger had spent time on loan at Cougar Park this season, scoring three tries in three appearances, before being recalled to The Shay.
But he will now join Paul March’s side on a permanent deal until the end of the season, giving Cougars a huge boost ahead of Sunday’s home clash with North Wales Crusaders.
