COUGARS have announced their squad numbers for the 2015 season, with a number of existing players moving up the pecking order.

Following the departure of James Craven, Richie Barnett, Sean Hesketh and Elliot Cosgrove, several men have been given numbers in the top 17.

Jesse Sheriffe takes the No 1 jersey following James Craven’s departure to Batley, with Sean Hesketh’s move to the Bulldogs seeing Ross Peltier take the No 10 shirt.

Richie Barnett and Elliot Cosgrove’s exits to Hunslet means Gavin Duffy, who scored 11 tries on loan at the Hawks last season, and Daley Williams take the No 2 and 3 shirts respectively.

Danny Lawton (4) and Scott Law (8) wear the numbers vacated by the retiring James Haley and Andy Shickell, while player-coach Paul March has moved himself to No 26, with Luke Haigh taking his old No 14.

New boy Aaron Nicholson takes the 23 shirt, with youngster Chris Watson moving from 31 to 22. The three players promoted from the Under-20s side are Liam Darville, Andy Gabriel and Tom Courtney.

Isaac Brown, who is with the club on a trial basis, will be allocated the 29 jersey later if he earns himself a contract.
