CAMPION U21s are one victory away from becoming West Riding County FA Development League champions after a 1-0 victory at home to Tadcaster Albion last night.
That left them one point behind leaders Harrogate Town, who have finished their league campaign, with one match to play.
The Bradford youngsters must now beat Liversedge U23s away on April 10 to clinch the title, with a draw not being enough due to Harrogate's superior goal difference.
Last night's win came on the back of a 1-1 home draw against Ossett United U23s.
An even game saw Campion dominate the first half before Ossett took control in the second period.
Andre Tavernier put Campion ahead but Ossett grabbed a deserved equaliser with 20 minutes remaining.
Dipo Olasun was voted man of the match for Campion.
Bradford (Park Avenue) U19s now have Dave Haley as their new manager following the departure of Alex Meechan.
In his first match, Avenue were soundly beaten 6-0 at home to AFC Emley in the Northern Alliance League.
This defeat leaves Avenue firmly stuck at the bottom of the table, and still looking for their first point of the season.
