CAMPION U21s progressed to the next round of the West Riding County FA Development League Cup following their 2-1 win against Hemsworth Miners Welfare at Manningham Mills.
Guy Bolton scored twice for Campion and he was also voted man of the match for his outstanding performance. Campion couldn't convert lots of chances to put the game to bed and as a result, Hemsworth reduced the arrears with 10 minutes to go which made for a nervous finish.
But Campion saw the game out to progress to the quarter-final. Boss Steve Grime said: "We coped very well against a direct and physical team who were also dangerous at set pieces."
The League Cup tie between Huddersfield YMCA and Brighouse Town was postponed due to an unfit pitch at Huddersfield.
