ECCLESHILL United will not be joining Thackley, Campion and Silsden in the FA Cup first qualifying round later this month.
With Bradford (Park Avenue), Brighouse Town and Liversedge already knocked out, the underdogs have been flying the flag for the Bradford District.
And those four aforementioned Northern Counties East League Premier Division sides were all in the hat for Monday’s draw, with Eccleshill knowing they would be hosting Whitby Town if they won at home to Mossley in the pair’s replay last night.
But having drawn 0-0 on enemy territory, Lee Elam’s Eagles were unable to finish the job off on home soil against a side who play a division above them.
Mason Fawns and Kacper Mialkowski put Mossley 2-0 in front at the break, before Matthias Britton halved the deficit midway through the second half.
But Remi Efunnuga scored three minutes from time to finish Eccleshill off once and for all.
Thackley will travel to Warrington Rylands in the next round, with Silsden off to West Didsbury & Chorlton and Campion hosting a mouthwatering tie against Blyth Spartans.
The Red and Blacks were also at home last night, as they beat Knaresborough Town 3-1 in a league encounter at Scotchman Road.
Captain Aidan Kirby opened the scoring after good work from Lloyd Smith, before Knaresborough equalised against the run of play through an excellent Jack Wilson finish from a tight angle.
Karl Fitzgerald was sent to the sin bin just before the break for the home side, but they survived their temporary reduction to 10 men and instead won the game late on through goals from Zak Khan and Robbie Graham.
Over in the North West Counties Football League First Division North, Route One Rovers have had a poor start to the season and are currently sat in the bottom three.
But the Bradford side gave one of the title favourites, Atherton Laburnum Rovers, a good game on Tuesday evening before losing 4-2.
Atherton took the lead through a penalty in the opening minute from Thomas Romano, but visiting Route One levelled before the interval courtesy of Kamran Khan.
But the Bradford side were floored by a devastating 15 minute spell at the start of the second half, with Romano scoring another penalty, quickly followed up by goals from Joe Bacon and Kyle Robinson-Murray.
At 4-1 down, Route One kept going, and scored a consolation goal through Hassan Khan.
Anees Younis also had a spell in the sin-bin during the game for the visitors.
Route One’s only win so far this season came at Steeton, part of a disastrous start to the campaign for the latter.
But they have turned things around over the last couple of weeks, and have now picked up seven points from their last three games to climb up the table.
In an epic home game against Bacup Borough on Tuesday night, Ollie Kirkpatrick put them in front.
But goals from Kyle Siddle, Ben Thompson and Ellis Horan put the visitors 3-1 up with 15 minutes to go.
Emerson Mitchell and Kyle Hancock had also been sin-binned in a difficult second half for Steeton, but with 11 men back on the field, a brilliant late show saw them score through Alex Stewart and Josh Coe to salvage a 3-3 draw.
