PROLIFIC striker Marcus Day has transferred from Campion to Shirebrook Town FC for an undisclosed fee.
In moving to the Derbyshire side, Day will now play his football in NCEL Division One rather than the Premier Division, with his new team currently sitting in 4th.
The forward scored an astonishing 66 goals in just 80 appearances for Campion and was integral in last season's NCEL Division One and West Riding FA County Cup winning campaign.
The Bradford club commented: "Thank you for everything, and best of luck in your new venture. You're always welcome back at Scotchman Road. Legend!"
Shirebrook also went on to comment: "We are absolutely thrilled to announce the signing of prolific goal scorer Marcus Day
"The club would like to place on record our sincere gratitude to Campion and their staff for making the transfer a smooth and professional one .
"We would also like to thank Steve Bodle, Lee Needham and our chairman for giving their Sunday up to get this over the line."
