Long-serving Bradford Central League Umpires’ Association appointments secretary David Manogue has died aged 73.
A gentle giant who wore the white coat for Low Moor and Buttershaw St Paul’s, he also represented his city over 100 times at table tennis in the Yorkshire League and played for Hermits.
David was also a footballer while in the Royal Air Force.
His funeral is tomorrow at Scholemoor Crematorium (11.30am).
