Leaders Woodlands were in trouble at home to lowly Saltaire when rain caused their match to be abandoned on another day of disruption in the Bradford League.
Every Division One match started but none were concluded.
In a match reduced to 28 overs, Woodlands struggled to 94-8 and Saltaire were well-placed at 19-0 when the match was called off, leaving the visitors with four useful bowling points which slightly eases their relegation worries.
They are 24 points clear of the relegation places with three games to play.
Woodlands, lacking overseas player Sarfraz Ahmed, lost their first four wickets for only 12 runs. Stephen Piercey was run out without a run on the board before Nawaz Sandar dismissed fellow opener Sam Frankland, also without scoring.
More problems followed when Kamran Anwar dismissed the dangerous Simon Mason and Chris Brice cheaply.
Woodlands were partially rescued by their sixth-wicket pair of Liam Brierley (34no) and Tim Orrell (28), who put on 47 before Saltaire skipper Ijaz Khan had Orrell caught. Saltaire’s most successful bowlers were Wasim Qasim with 3-31 in five overs and Anwar 2-14 in nine.
Second-placed Cleckheaton gained three points on Woodlands in their abandoned match against Lightcliffe, but are still 42 behind.
They earned three bowling points after Lightcliffe made 128-6 in a match reduced to 20 overs, with former Yorkshire pace bowler James Lee taking 3-29 and Andrew Deegan 2-29.
Lightcliffe lost Alex Stead without a run on the board but there were useful contributions from Matt Taylor (34), skipper Jonathan Wilson (28), wicket-keeper Mark Horne (22 not out) and overseas player Suleman Khan (21).
Tim Jackson had made an unbeaten 27 in Cleckheaton’s score of 47-2 when the rain caused the match to be abandoned.
There was most play at Hanging Heaton , where Pudsey Congs, who had won their previous two matches, took another step towards ensuring their Division One safety by earning maximum five batting points after declaring at 226-6.
Opener Nick Lindley continued his fine form by making 40 and sharing an opening stand of 77 with Basil Akram (32).
Eugene Burzler kept up the momentum with 33, while Ed Walmsley (35) and skipper Glenn Roberts (16) shared an unbroken seventh-wicket stand of 30.
John Carruthers took 3-76 and David Stiff 2-39.
The rain came before Hanging Heaton could begin their reply.
The bottom two clubs, Undercliffe and Farsley , could make no progress to ease their plight.
Undercliffe’s home match against East Bierley was abandoned with the visitors 2-0 after two overs, while only seven overs were possible at Farsley, where Bradford & Bingley made 23-1.
It was a similar story at Pudsey St Lawrence, where the home side scored 20-0 in 7.2 overs against Manning-ham Mills when the rain came.
Five of the six matches in Division Two were abandoned without a ball being bowled. The exception was at Hartshead Moor, where visitors, third-placed Morley, scored 136-5 in 30 overs thanks to a fourth-wicket stand of 97 between skipper Matthew Baxter (70) and Kashif Naveed (59).
Hartshead had replied with 62-2 when the rain came.
