There is a point in every season when confused key issues become clearer and, with crunch matches in all three Aire-Wharfe League divisions, that point could well come on Saturday.
With only four games left, second take on third in Division One, first go head to head with second in Division Two, and top meet third in Division Three.
With some crucial matches in the relegation stakes also on the cards, there are bound to be plenty of nerves and excitement around Aire-Wharfe grounds.
Burley didn’t seem in with a shout of the championship when Collingham skittled them out for 80 in early June.
But they regrouped after the rest of the month was washed out and have taken 31 of the last 36 points on offer, so when the sides meet again this weekend they sit in third place just two points behind Collingham and seven behind leaders Beckwithshaw.
Both will be hoping that Steeton can recapture the form that saw them top the table in the first half of the season when they entertain Beckwithshaw.
Richard Craddock picked up four wickets when Steeton became the last side to beat the leaders, who are on a six-match winning streak.
With Adel, who are at Otley, already relegated, the battle is on to avoid the second relegation spot.
Ben Rhydding are currently there, five points behind Bilton, but clubs as high as sixth-placed Thackley – eight points above Ben Rhydding – could still be sucked into the dogfight.
That makes Thackley’s trip to Ben Rhydding on Saturday a tense affair and will bring back memories of their low-scoring tie earlier in the season.
Having taken only one point in the last two games, Guiseley won’t be over confident travelling to Bilton, who bowled them out for 91 earlier, while the other two sides in the relegation mix, Follifoot and Kirkstall, also meet.
Division Two leaders Harden have only suffered one defeat all season, bowled out for 77 by Saturday's visitors Pool, who are now three points behind them in second place.
Both sides are in hot form but with one or both sure to lose points, third-placed Rawdon can take advantage if they overcome Green Lane.
However, Lane still have an outside chance of going up and already have a victory over Rawdon under their belt.
At the bottom, Olicanian look doomed and it’s hard to see them picking up anything against Bolton Villas, who have won three of their last four matches.
Calverley are four points above the drop zone and face a tough match against Knaresborough, who have won four of their last five, which will leave Calverley hoping North Leeds can keep Upper Wharfedale in the basement spots.
Ilkley should be too strong for Bardsey - a match that will bring back good memories for Alex Miller, who hit a century last time they met.
Colton are currently eight points clear at the top of Division Three but they meet third-placed Tong Park Esholt this weekend and second-placed Menston on the final day of the season.
Tong Park Esholt were hanging on for a point at 72-6 the last time they met, but are currently on a three-match winning streak and could blow the promotion race wide open with a win.
Meanwhile Menston, who have won their last four games, will expect to beat Addingham and reinforce their hopes of promotion at the first attempt.
Silsden should stretch their run to six wins in eight against rock-bottom Alwoodley, while Horsforth travel to Woodhouse, one of only three sides they have beaten this season.
Skipton are still only two points above the re-election spots, so need to come away from Hall Park with at least a draw.
