Adam Lyth missed out on a century during the morning session on day two of Yorkshire’s LV= County Championship match with Derbyshire.
The Tykes opener was dismissed for 93 at Headingley.
At lunch, Yorkshire had reached 244-3 in their first innings.
Lyth’s dismissal was the only wicket to fall during the morning session, with Gary Ballance effortlessly reaching lunch on 78 not out.
Bradford-born Anthony McGrath was unbeaten on 18 at the interval.
Yorkshire have also been given a boost with the news that Tim Bresnan will be available to play a part in this match.
He’s missed out on selection for England’s game against South Aftrica at Lords and will replace Moin Ashraf in the Tykes team when he arrives in Leeds later today.
