Pudsey St Lawrence Cricket Club are to launch Jim the Cat – monthly cricket luncheons named after their Lancashire counterparts Jim the Dog – on Friday, October 12.
Organiser Dr Peter Davies says: “The combination of cricket and food is perfect and we will also enliven each event with a guest speaker on a cricketing theme.
“The luncheon club in Lancashire works very well and we hope to emulate it.”
The club will also meet on Fridays November 9, December 14, January 11, February 8 and March 8.
