Craven League product Arran Brindle has been named in England women’s 15-player squad for their tour of New Zealand in February.
The former Barrowford player joins her Sussex county colleagues Sarah Taylor and Georgia Elwiss.
The latter, along with Anya Shrubsole (Somerset), will have the chance to impress as pace bowlers with Yorkshire’s Katherine Brunt being rested.
Yorkshire players selected for the tour, which comprises five twenty20 matches and three one-day internationals, are Jenny Gunn and Danni Hazell.
