Woodlands want the JCT600 Bradford League to follow the Bradford Mutual Sunday School League and only award bonus points to losing sides.

The league champions want 20 points to be awarded to the winners or, in the case of a tie or incomplete match, five points each plus bonus points.

In an abandoned game, each side would receive five points, while the losing side would receive bonus points as per the current system for a defeat.

Pudsey Congs, however, want some reward for sides bowling out their opponents cheaply.

They reckon the bowling side should get the batting points not earned by the batting side.

East Bierley feel that the current time allowed of 3hr 10min for bowling 50 overs should be extended by ten minutes.

Congs also want all matches to start at 1pm, with the exception of September when starts should be at noon.

The management board, writing on behalf of the captains, want leg-side wides to be introduced to first-team league cricket.

There would be pitch markings to help the umpires adjudicate on the deliveries.

The management board also want a relaxation on the rule regarding new players.

As long as a player is registered with the league on or before July 31, they can play at any time, thus doing away with the need to play at least one match before June 30.

Bradford & Bingley want the management board to be restructured, allowing for an extra club representative (up from two) and one less umpire (down from two).

* Brighouse and Windhill have been unanimously re-elected to the JCT600 Bradford League at their rules revision meeting.

Each received the backing of the other 23 member clubs after finishing in the bottom two of the Second Division.
