With three games of the season gone, Denholme and Thornton remain unbeaten at the top of Bradford & District Evening League Division One.
James Davies, who plays his cricket on a Saturday for Bradford & Bingley in the JCT600 Bradford League, top-scored with 45 as Denholme made 137-7 at previously unbeaten John Breare.
Excellent bowling by Ben Burkhill (4-16) tore the heart out of the home side, who finished on 89-6, with Matthew Tinsley (38no) offering some fine resistance.
Baildon Meths' Brett Kinsey took 3-25 but Thornton still made a healthy 121-7.
Greg Soames' fine slow bowling (4-30) then imposed a stranglehold on the home batters, with only Danny Hinchcliffe (32) making an impression as their innings finished on 104-7.
Bingley Congs narrowly missed out on recording their first win of the season against Allerton, who posted 114-2, with skipper Chris Brown making a half- century.
Ten-man Congs were left to rue the lack of the extra batter as Chris Hemsley (49) ran out of support and they were all out seven runs short of victory.
Paul Jarvis took 4-29 as Haworth Road were bowled out for 109, but Windhill did not find runs easy to come by and their reply concluded on 84-7.
Apperley Bridge top Division Two after recording an emphatic win at home against Bolton Villas.
Chasing the visitors' 120-4, Umar Khan (52no) and Waqas Ahmed (53no) secured a ten-wicket win inside ten overs.
HSA are in second place as Khalid Hussain (35no) ensured his team overhauled Indian Panthers' total of 93-7 for the loss of two wickets.
Queensbury won a hard-fought game over fellow newcomers Cross Roads & Daisy Hill, who would have been disappointed in making only 80-9 off 16 overs. Damien Weston claimed four wickets for a miserly 11 runs, including a hat-trick.
However, the home side did not have things their own way and were struggling at 20-4, with Adam Hussain claiming three wickets.
Then Dave Griffiths (27no) used all his experience to steady the ship. Ably supported by Tom Watson (22), the home side claimed the win with three balls to spare.
Elsewhere, Azad claimed their first win of the season at Shelf, while Cambing emerged victorious at home to Mayfield.
