Allerton top Group A of the Bradford Mutual Sunday School League by seven points after their seven-wicket win over Hallfield, who were dismissed for just 32, Asif Shiekh claiming four wickets and M Sajid five.
Heaton are second following their one-wicket triumph over BPR. Ansar Mahmood claimed 4-25 as BPR were all out for 85 but Heaton lost nine wickets in passing the score, Kamran Mir top-scoring with 46 as Ajmal Mahmood took 5-24.
Cambing and Omars are level in third place. Omars defeated Girlington by 32 runs, Mahesh (67) and Vinod (5-33) being the stand-out performers, while Cambing lost to Bradford Gymkhana by 56 runs. Furukh Ahmad top-scored for Cambing with 64 and Fiaz Khan topped that with 65 for Gymkhana.
Heaton B gained their first win with an eight-wicket success over Yorskhire LPS, thanks to 50 not out from Mohammed Saghir and 5-13 from Mansoor Hussain.
In Group B the top three all won to maintain the status quo. Great Horton Church remain top after their 75-run triumph over Muff Field, Sajjad Sabir scoring 69 in Church’s 183. Frank Powell and Ibrahim Bismillah took four wickets each for Muff Field, who finished on 108 all out as 15-year-old Rahat Shah did the damge with 4-29 for Church.
Mohammed Data scored 103 not out for second-placed Bradford Gymkhana B in their 268-9 against Muff Field, who were dismissed for 104, Habib Ur Rehman taking 5-34.
Third-placed Salem Athletic had an easy victory over Mandhata as Mohammed Ilyas (83), Shezad Butt (84) and Masood Khan (78) shone in their 319-8, Mandhata replying with 81 all out.
Odsal Phoenix defeated Great Horton Metsh by six wickets after Vindul sharma took 6-20 as Meths were all out for 47.
In Group C, Great Horton Church maintain their ten-point lead at the top as again the top three all won.
Church scored 330-8 against Girlington, with Abrar Hussain top-scoring on 134 and Sami Rehman hitting 54. Girlingtop were dismissed for 186 but Basharat Hussain scored 79 for them.
Salem Athletic had a narrow three-run win over Cross Roads & Daisy Hill. Byron Greenwood took 7-60 as Salem were all out for 122, Tahir Rashid scoring 54. Mohammed Sheraz also notched 45 then he took 6-26 as Daisy were all out for 119.
West Bowling had an easy ten-wicket victory over Cambing as Anjum Munir took 5-45 to dismiss Cambing for 66.
Mohammed Ibrar scored 120 as Bowling Baptists made 258-6 against Allerton, who were dismissed for 66.
In Group D, BPR lost their 100 per-cent record against Mayfield, Tahir Abbas was top scorer of the day with 158 not out in BPR’s 336-6. Mazar Iqbal scored 67 and Kazam Hussain 57 but Mayfield held out for a draw at 96-5. Mayfield's fifth wicket stand of 46 took 21 overs and rescued them a draw.
Bradford Indains are second after their seven-wicket win over Muff Field and Buttershaw St.Pauls third, despite losing to Yorkshire LPS, who gained their first win of the season. Viral Patel was man of the match for LPS with 80 not out in their 206-9 and then he took 7-57 as Buttershaw were all out for 161, Dave O’Connell scoring 83.
In a close encounter, Cross Roads and Daisy Hill Meths gained a winning draw over Central YMC. Daisy made 172-6 with Bilal Mogul scoring 87not out and Graham Langton 42. YMCA then held out for a draw with their last pair at the wicket on 153-9.
