Henry Barrow was the star of the show as Addingham notched their first win in Aire-Wharfe League Division Three, cruising past Silsden by nine wickets.
It was difficult to remember that as recently as two seasons ago these teams were two divisions apart and it was Silsden who looked like the side that had been languishing in the lower reaches when Barrow produced a 12.4 over spell of 7-28 to dismiss them for 104.
He then hit an unbeaten 65 and linked up with Darryl Robinson (38no) to complete the win.
Silsden are not the only side struggling to find form.
Horsforth went down by four wickets at Bardsey, despite an unbeaten 76 from Anthony Cadman, and neighbours Hall Park could only toil to 143-8 in reply to New Rover’s 208-7.
Skipton managed to pick up a point at in-form Colton to keep their unbeaten record alive, while 60 from Alex Bailey came agonisingly close to giving Ilkley their first win of the season but they had to settle for two points when they fell five short of Bardsey’s 163-7.
Otley smashed their way to a first win of the season in Division One, scoring at around seven an over to pass the formidable 224-4 target set by Bilton in a match reduced to 34 overs a side.
Nick Benton led the way with 66, George Huntley weighed in with 30 and Matthew O’Grady clinched things with an unbeaten 46 and 2.2 overs to spare.
Thackley dropped their first point of the season but their domination of title hopefuls Beckwithshaw kept them top of the table and suggests their challenge is a real one.
Leon Harber and Joe Ollerenshaw hit half-centuries in Thackley’s 196-8 before Mahir Ali (3-36) and Nasser Jamal (4-54) restricted the visitors to 104-7.
Jeremy Batty (72) and Andrew Doidge (65) steered Rawdon to 158-4 but they are still stuck at the bottom of the table without a point after Burley eased past them with six wickets in hand.
Yasser Ali hit an unbeaten 98 as Green Lane took four points off Follifoot, while Guiseley defended a slim 128 total for four points thanks to the accuracy of Marcus Brown (3-29) and Dave Pennett (3-28).
Menston finally found their feet in Division Two with a convincing winning draw over Pool.
John Storey hit 53 in their 160-8 and Charlie Dracup produced a superb ten-over spell of 6-28 to keep the visitors on the back foot, although their last pair hung on for a point.
Ben Rhydding continue to be the side to beat, apparently unfazed by being the new boys in the division.
Robbie Miller (67no) top-scored in their 210-6 in which Sam Lawrence took 5-76, then Nick Smith, whose 6-31 included a hat-trick, had Bolton Villas toiling to 89-7.
Harden went down to their first defeat, beaten by four wickets by Knaresborough despite a half-century from Phil Allinson, while Tong Park Esholt came agonisingly close to ending their miserable start to the season when Nadim Hanif (4-62) and Mick Scott (4-33) had North Leeds reeling.
However, the visitors’ veteran Steve Wales managed a four off the final available ball to clinch victory by one wicket.
Chris Spivey (5-21) and Will Driver (46) starred as Olicanian eased past Calverley’s 103 with seven wickets in hand, while Shane McNamara (71no) and Jonathan Best (4-36) led Steeton to a ten-wicket victory at Upper Wharfedale.
