A glorious innings from Jonathan Bairstow is helping Yorkshire to an imposing first-innings total against Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge.
At tea on day two of their LV= County Championship clash, he had reached 199 not out – with the Tykes on 519-8.
Bairstow’s heroics helped Yorkshire go through the afternoon session without losing a wicket, with Ryan Sidebottom, who is on 38, impressing on his return to the county he left last summer.
Together, they had added 136 runs for the ninth-wicket by the interval – a record for the county against Nottinghamshire.
