Yorkshire are just 109 runs away from victory in their three-day friendly against Durham MCCU at the Racecourse Ground.
Three wickets from Ajmal Shahzad, who finished with figures of 5-61, during the afternoon session of the final day helped bowl out the students for 287 in their second-innings.
Tom Westley’s 127 helped set a victory target of 129, before openers Gary Ballance and Joe Sayers then guided Yorkshire to 20-0 at tea.
