Yorkshire look to be closing in on victory in their three-day friendly against Durham MCCU.
By lunch on the final day the students had reached 212-6, a lead of only 53 runs.
They resumed on 110-3, with Gurman Randhawa making the first two breakthroughs.
The young spinner first had Shan Masood expertly caught at slip by Gary Ballance for 31, before bowling Rishabh Shah for just a single.
This left the students 161-5, with David Wainwright then having Luke Blackaby caught behind by debutant wicketkeeper Barney Gibson for a duck to leave the hosts struggling on 162-6.
A spirited partnership of 50 then took them to lunch though, with captain Tom Westley unbeaten on 85 and Luke Patel 23.
