Kashmir made a cracking start to the new West Riding Sunday Cricket Council season as Muhammed Zahid hit the season’s first century in Kashmir’s winning total of 314-5.
Euro Windows put down a marker too, Ehsan Khan scoring 84 of their 229 all out reply.
Champions Azeems were predictably too much for newcomers Skipton Kashmir, making 250 all out – helped by their own newcomer Callum Jones’s 51. Skipton were 97 all out, bloodied but unabashed.
The second of the new clubs, Khan, opened their account with 217 all out, Fazal Wazir top-scoring with 67. Hiran Morker made a creditable 87 out of Prajapati’s total of 128 all out.
Muhammed Siraj fell just nine runs short of his first century for newly-promoted Abaseen as they amassed 192 all out while Majid Ur Rehman’s 5-36 squeezed Attock Sweet Centre’s score to 129 all out.
