Yorkshire look to be heading towards a heavy defeat in their LV=County Championship clash with Durham at Headingley.

Set an improbably victory target of 490, they have reached lunch on the final day on 176 for six.

It means the Tykes still need 314 more runs to win, but that seems very unlikely after losing four wickets in the morning session.

The first two came very quickly after Yorkshire had resumed on 88 for two.

Joe Root, for 38, was ousted by Graham Onions with only the 15th ball of the day before captain Andrew Gale fell just seven balls later to Scott Borthwick for only five.

This left the Tykes on 95 for four, before a spirited partnership of 37 between Gerard Brophy and Jonathan Bairstow at least gave the Yorkshire supporters something to cheer about.

Brophy was eventually out for 20 though, with Bradford-born Adil Rashid then falling for only seven as the session came to a close.

It means the men still at the crease are Bairstow, on 48, and Rich Pyrah, who is not out on four.
