All-time record Bradford League run scorer Mark Gilliver returns to Central Yorkshire League cricket with Northowram on Saturday.
It is 20 years since he left Liversedge following 1,837 runs in two seasons at Roberttown Lane.
Gilliver, having played for Manningham Mills, Undercliffe, Idle, Windhill, Esholt and Brighouse, marks his CYL return as captain of Calderdale side Northowram in their opening Premier Division game at Ossett.
Birstall start with a home match against Altofts and Mirfield Parish host Wakefield St Michaels, while Premier Division champions Wrenthorpe are at promoted Division One winners Hunslet Nelson.
Buttershaw St Paul’s, having finished fourth in Division One last season, are at home to promoted Oulton in their opening game.
