Clubs wishing to play in the 2011 Dyson Insulations Twenty20 Cup have been asked to confirm their interest by tomorrow night at a meeting at Cleckheaton Sports Club (7.30).
"We are currently finalising the format for the 2011 competition and are interested in hearing the views of the clubs," said competition organiser Alan Birkinshaw.
"We received a lot of feedback last season which suggested that the group stages went on too long and there seemed to be strong feeling that all matches should be played on Sundays.
"In talks with our sponsor, the idea of a knockout format was discussed and it was felt that this might add to the interest in the competition. Now we need to know the feelings of the participating clubs."
Baildon, Bradford & Bingley, Brighouse, Cleckheaton, Farsley, Gomersal, Hanging Heaton, Hartshead Moor, Keighley, Pudsey St Lawrence, Saltaire and Yeadon have already expressed an interest in competing this year.
